Unseen singer who used to sing at the Sambu Club. That's where she met her husband, the disturbed perfume industry millionaire Mr. Jerome. According to one character, Mr. Jerome "...has a mania for nightclub singers! He's paying alimony to six of them, now!" Gloria was number five. Mr. Jerome is suspiciously hanging around the Samba Club while it's burning down.

From the Sally O'Neil story of comic book National Comics #46 (February 1945). Policewoman Sally O'Neil goes undercover as metafictional club singer Lulu Joy to find out who's the arsonist burning down the town's nightclubs.
