The jazz loving cartoon owl and son of serious classical music teacher Fritz Owl in the 1936 Warner Brothers cartoon, I Love To Singa, a parody of Al Jolson's 1927 film The Jazz Singer. Owl's stern Germanic music teacher father kicks him out of the tree for singing jazz, but they later reconcile live on the radio station G-O-N-G program, Jack Bunny and his Amateur Hour, where little Owl Jolson wins first prize.
