Kids in the Hall
Father of all that is evil and excellent rock guitarist in a sketch from sketch comedy television series The Kids in the Hall (1992). He challenges teen Bobby (Bruce McCulloch) to a guitar duel in one sketch, even sprouting a set of extra limbs to play a double-necked guitar.
In another sketch he's starting a band called The Noodles.

The Devil Went Down to Georgia
In the 1979 Charlie Daniels Band song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," Satan plays a mean fiddle in a contest against Johnny.
Saturday Night Live
In 1999, on Saturday Night Live, Garth Brooks played Milo Jenkins who cuts a deal with the devil for a hit song. But Lucifer (Will Ferrell) turns out to be a terrible songwriter and guitarist.
