Orchestra from the 1935 French comedy film Fanfare d'amour. Two male musicians are forced to dress as women to join this all-female band.
If it seems similar to the classic 1959 film Some Like It Hot, that's because it is. The 1959 film was a remake based on the original. The 1935 screenplay was written by Robert Thoeren.
The film was also remade in a 1951 West German version, Fanfaren der Liebe, which even had a 1953 sequel, Fanfare of Marriage
