Dave "Bugs" Potter is a teenage drummer who sneaks out at night to sit in and jam with his favourite bands.

He appears in two of Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's young adult novels: Who is Bugs Potter? and Bugs Potter: Live at Nickaninny
