One of the many fictional jazz outfits created by DJ/producer Madlib in the 2000s. The releases by these 'bands' on Stones Throw Records often looked and sounded as if they were vintage and discovered in a second-hand record store. Drummer in the Joe McDuphrey Experience is Otis Jackson Jr., the most obvious alias for Madlib, since that's his birth name.
