Clavichrome player mentioned in passing in the 2011 science fiction novel Farthest Reef by Karl Kofoed.
The instrument was first featured in the works of S. P. Somtow, and probably used by Kofoed as a tribute.
He thought of the music now playing both inside and out, Nium Spruance's live performance of Ode to Joy 3000 with the Martian Clavichrome Ensemble.
