From the "Into Harmony's Way" episode (8 Dec. 2013) of animated sitcom Family Guy. Main characters Peter Griffin and his neighbor and friend Glen Quagmire accidentally discover they harmonize awesomely. They decide to form this Simon & Garfunkel-esque folk duo, managed by minor character Mort Goldman.
They desert him to enter the big leagues, but Peter develops a classic case of that sitcom disease, "Big Head Syndrome," and they break up live on Conan O'Brien's show.
