This anthropomorphic piece of broccoli first appeared in 1989 on the "The Good, The Bad, & The Broccoli" episode of The California Raisin Show, which featured The California Raisins. He's a dim-witted English punk rocker led into schemes by his conniving manager Leonard Limabean. Limabean and Lick plant a bug in the Raisins' mansion to steal their newest song.
He also appeared in their second television special, Raisins Sold Out: The California Raisins II (1990).
