Frustrated concert violinist turned criminal and nemesis of cowboy comic book hero The Vigilante, from the DC comic book series [Action Comics]. He first appeared in the "Fiddler's Fee" story of Action Comics #59 (April, 1943). He posed as a blind street musician and played coded messages on his the violin to orchestrate his gang. He last appearance was in Action Comics #91 (December 1945).
