Fictional singer of the song as the same title as the 2005 novel, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. She had a album, Songs After Dark," that came out in 1956 and it becomes an item of fascination for protagonist Kathy H.

The novel was turned into a 2010 film of the same name, with real singer Jane Monheit playing Judy Bridgewater.
