In the "The Music Man" episode (04/06/82) of biracial sitcom ''Diff'rent Strokes'' (1978-1986), older brother Willis Drummond (Todd Bridges) has this funkish/R & B-ish band. He is auditioning singers, which pits his black girlfriend Charlene (Janet Jackson!) vs. his white stepsister Kimberly Drummond (Dana Plato). The solution? They both sing, in a horrible duet covering Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder's "Ebony and Ivory." I knew there was a curse on that show!
