Rock band appearing in the "Sandy's Idol" episode of Devlin, Hanna-Barbera's largely forgotten animated attempt to cash in on Evel Knievel's fame (first aired 26 Oct. 1974). The band, whose lead singer is also named "Lucifer," is hired to perform at the traveling circus that Devlin works at, but he ends up being a jerk. Who'd have thought that a guy named "Lucifer" wouldn't be all sweetness and light?
Fun fake band connection: Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees provided the voice for Tod, the show's teenage mechanic.
