From the film Young Man with a Horn (1950). Hot young jazz trumpeter whose rags-to-riches career arc is all too short. Played by Kirk Douglas. Doris Day plays band singer Jo Jordan. The 1950 movie was based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Dorothy Baker.
