The jazz loving cartoon owl and son of serious classical music teacher Fritz Owl in the 1936 Warner Brothers cartoon, I Love To Singa, a parody of Al Jolson's The Jazz Singer. His stern Germanic father kicks him out of the tree for singing jazz, but they later reconcile live on the radio station G-O-N-G program, Jack Bunny and his Amateur Hour, where little Owl Jolson wins first prize.
