Lo/Rez is a fictional rock band from science fiction author William Gibson's 1996 novel Idoru.
The band's sound is loosely described as "rock" in the book, which largely takes place in a futuristic version of Tokyo, Japan. Lo/Rez released their first album, Lo Rez Skyline, on an indie label called Dog Soup. The original album cover featured a group shot; later versions were replaced with another image (Gibson doesn't specify what took its place).
