Trumpeter and one of the "old time jazz greats" from a Progress Hornsby sketch comedy television series Your Show of Shows (1950-1954).
Hornsby thinks he's outstanding. Not only did he hit the C above high C, he hit an M, and when he tried to hit a high R above S he accidentally blew himself into orbit.
His first name's supposed to be Peter, but Caesar flubs the line and calls him Pat.
