Gilda Radner played this parody of punk rocker Patti Smith in a 1978 Saturday Night Live skit. She sang "If You Look Close." She also used the character on her 1979 Warner Brothers Live In New York album, where she sang "Gimme Mick." as well as "If You Look Close." The graphic is from the SNL video site.
