Volcanohead is a band mentioned in Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's 1983 teen novel Bugs Potter: LIVE at Nickaninny.


Their songs include:

Loading his tape deck with the new Volcanohead cassette. He donned the headphones and pounced on the drums, beating out the rhythms of the first song, "Lava Breath." The new drum made a remarkably good sound and was a welcome addition to Bugs' set.
