Cool, or Mr. Cool, is a jazz trumpeter played by Tony Hippolyte in the 1986 film Absolute Beginners. He appears in the nightclub scene accompanying singer Athene Duncannon, played by Sade. They perform the song "Killer Blow". He is called Cool because he is "so cool for reasons too obvious to mention", according to the film's main character, photographer Colin.
