Chief poet, bard, and rhymer of human king Fergus mac Léti of Ulster from Irish mythology, he's visited by leprechaun bard Esirt. Wackiness ensues. Aedh is a dwarf, but when he in turn visits the leprechauns, he seems a giant to them.

The tale is preserved in the "Imthechta Tuaithe Luchra ocus Aided Fergusa / Echtra Fhergusa maic Léti" story in the British Library, MS Egerton 1782 Egerton 1782 manuscript in the British Library.

Aedh lost an eye at some point, and was renamed Gow mac Morne.
