Forty-five-year-old concert singer murdered in the text-only short story "Sweet Dreams of Death" in comic book Zip Comics #45 (April 1944). Her brother Gerald Moore wrote many of her songs and shared a house with her.
Private detective John Mason figures out it was her jealous friend Katherine Cole, a would-be singer, who did it.
