Five wandering musicians featured in several episodes of the kid's TV show Fraggle Rock (1983-1987). They appeared in three episodes: "The Minstrels" (first aired 9 May 1983), "Mokey and the Minstrels" (first aired 13 Feb. 1984), and "The Honk of Honks" (first aired 23 March 1987). The group consisted of Cantus (voiced by Jim Henson) on the pipe, Brio (Terry Angus) on percussion, Murray (Steve Whitmire) on guitar, Brool (Tim Gosley) on an odd stringed instrument, and Balsam (Lee Armstrong, Jerry Nelson, and/or Karen Prell) on bongos.
