Fictional Mexican trumpet virtuosos from the 1960 album hoax/joke Jazz for Two Trumpets (Metro-Jazz). Supposedly recorded by farmers, jazz fans, and brothers Juan and José Santos of the small (and real) Mexican town of Copainalá.
It was really recorded at a slower speed on valve trombones and sped up to sound like trumpets and falsely virtuosic.
