A genius musical mind, disrupted by a tumor infiltrating the auditory cortex. A chorus of distorted nurses, a glam-rock doctor, a goth-punk daughter and a fragmented assortment of selves. This is the interior world of Bastian Bachman. Inspired by Oliver Sacks’ Musicophilia and Hofstadter’s Godel Escher Bach, this immersive piece transforms a defunct space into a malfunctioning musical mindscape, in which one man tries to make things right before time runs out.
