An Irish avant-garde artist and composer, she delved into the history of the Irish avant-garde, and not finding enough, made some up.

He favored the drones of the pipes, eventually only playing insanely long droning. A recording from 1910 required the recordist to use up all his spare wax cylinders.

He was supposedly an influence on real avant-garde composer Pauline Oliveros.
