She sang on an illegal gambling boat anchored twelve miles from shore run by "the Commander." But she got dumped out of a moving car in town by his goons for singing so badly. But "the Commander" is also a Nazi spy and saboteur sought out by hero Yankee Eagle (really Jerry Noble).
