Parody of real singer Snooky Lanson in the "The Plucky Strike Hiss Parade" parody in Charlton comic book/MAD magazine clone, From Here to Insanity #9 (April 1955)
The piece is a parody of real television series Lucky Strike Presents: Your Hit Parade, which Snooky hosted from 1950 to 1957.
