After Alvin and the Chipmunks' 1980 comeback album (Chipmunk Punk) on the Excelsior label, they bolted to RCA. Excelsior decided to just go find themselves another squeaky-voiced rodent act, and came up with these guys. And one girl.

Their look and sound is way more bar band/The Blues Brothers than the pop-oriented Chipmunks.
