Minor character and idiot contestant in Waterville's First Annual Christmas Talent Contest from the 1977 Muppet TV special Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Based on a children's book of the same name by Lillian Hoban, it stars none of the Muppet regulars except Kermit, who only narrates the tale.
When Yancy sings "Barbecue," the same song The Frogtown Hollow Jubilee Jug-Band was planning to play, they are foprced to quickly rehearse up another song, "Brothers."
Composer Paul Williams wrote the songs.
