From a sketch on Japanese television series Adventures of a Laughing Dog (笑う犬の冒険 Warau Inu no Bōken). (circa 2002). Video clips of this fake Japanese boy band singing "Yatta" while parading around in only fig leaves had us American web surfers convinced them Japanese is crazy, dude. It was actually supposed to be funny, dude- it was the work of a Japanese comedy group on their comedy show.
Their name translates as green leaves or leaf squad or something like that.
