Rooster rock star, formerly Chanticleer, from the 1991 animated film Rock-A-Doodle. Voiced and sung by real country star Glen Campbell. He's made a star to keep him away from the farm, so that he won't magically make the sun rise, and thus the evil owl will be able to take it over. All framed as a dream with a live action farm sequence that recalls the never to be seen again Disney film Song of the South.
Based off of the character of Chaunticleer the rooster in ye olde fables of Reynard the Fox.
