Famous French contemporary classical composer from the film by director Krzysztof Kieślowski (1988), Three Colours: Blue (1993). He and his 5 year old daughter Anna are killed in a car crash at the beginning of the film, leaving wife/mother Julie (Juliette Binoche) to mourn and carry the rest of the film.
His assistant Olivier (Benoit Regent) wants to finish his concerto dedicated to the unification of Europe.
