I.J. Waxley is an artist shown on the album sleeve of the original Rutles LP, issued in 1978 to accompany the mockumentary All You Need is Cash. He, apparently, released an album on the Rutle record label.

There is no mention of him in the film itself, but the photo on the album cover is taken from the scene where three chapters of the Redditch Hell's Angels has moved into the Rutle Corps offices. The Hell's Angel, played by Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, is apparently named I.J. Waxley.
