A human poet who composed Narn i Chîn Húrin ("Tale of the Children of Húrin"), in Sindarin (Elvish). He appears in Unfinished Tales, a collection of stories by J.R.R. Tolkien he never finished, edited and published by his son Christopher Tolkien in 1980.
