Rising young accordionist, from the 1957 promotional comic book In Tune With Fun by Feature Publications. Inspired by a concert by The Young People's Accordion Band, he pursues the accordion, and garners all the fun, friends, self-confidence, and popularity that naturally go hand-in-hand with learning to play one.
The comic name-checks real accordionists Johnny La Padula and Ernie Felice.
