Fleming is engaged to the Laurie Martin, daughter of rich businessman Paul Martin, who's been managing his career. Turns out Martin's a crime boss who's muscled his way into the jukebox vending business, and runs a record company called Half Note Records that makes cheap counterfeit versions of popular records, like Tammy Edmund.
