"The best piano player in New York!" from the "Queen of the Blues" story in Charlton comic book My Secret Life #29 (July 1959). Singer Eve Sands recounts her life in a flashback. At first a struggling young thing, this pianist takes her under his wing and helps train her up to fame. But after two years of success, their argument over when they will get married leads to their break-up. Years later, he's killed on Iwo Jima in WWII, setting the bulk of the story back in the 1930s.
