Fictional singer of the song "Never Let Me Go" which shares its title with it's 2005 novel, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. She had a album, Songs After Dark, that came out in 1956 and it becomes an item of fascination for protagonist Kathy H.
The novel was turned into a 2010 film of the same name, with real singer Jane Monheit playing Judy Bridgewater.
