In the episode, which is 1963, Sam jumps into body of amateur black girl group backup singer Cherrie (Tiffany Jackson). He must keep lead singer Lynell Walters (Tamara Townsend) from signing a contract with sleazy night club owner Bobby Lee (Eriq La Salle) who's also a part time pimp, AND reunite her with her minister father Rev. Walters (Harrison Page).
