Fake punk band (with a name designed to evoke thoughts of real punk/metal band Corrosion of Conformity) that appears in the imaginatively titled Saturday Night Live sketch "Punk Band Reunion at the Wedding" (first aired 6 Feb. 2010). The band consists of Fred Armisen (vocals and dad of the bride), Bill Hader (bass), Ashton Kutcher (guitar), and Dave Grohl (drums) playing a very early-'80s-DC-sounding tune called "Fistfight in the Parking Lot."
In a very Monkees-like move, the TV band spawned a real world musical release: a 7-inch on famed indie label Drag City. Armisen played all the music and did the vocals for the record.
