Band from the "Cat Nap" episode (Feb. 10, 2012) of sketch comedy television series Portlandia. At first, this two person local retro-New Wave sounding band is called The Nap. They are going nowhere until they figure out they need a gimmick, and add their cat Kevin to the band by adding a mic and an amp to his scratching post. They change their name to Cat Nap (or Catnap, it's shown both ways). Their song/video "Whisker Patrol" goes viral, and the band becomes a local success.
Later, they are kidnapped by an obsessive fan Gathy (with a "G"), played by Kristine Wiig. So then they change their name to Catnapped.
