"Alt-Latina" singer mentioned in the 25 Apr. 2020 installment of the long-running comic strip Funky Winkerbean. She owned a house after Hershey Barr had to dump it. We're guessing the name is a reference to vuvuzelas, which are, of course, South African. But maybe Bubu is highly cosmopolitan?
