Unseen fifties rock and roll band from the "Our Song" episode (September 27, 1986) of syndicated television series Throb. A Throb Records act, Bleeding Gums wants to cover their old romantic ballad, "Out of Control." Throb records employee Sandy (Diana Canova) has to go negotiate with the song's writer, Dan Porter (played by real singer Billy Vera).

The song was really written by Tena Clark.
