In the Hawaii Five-O episode "No Blue Skies" (5 December 1968), lounge singer Joey Rand (real singer Tommy Sands) turns to dramatic high-rise hotel break-ins in order to cover his gambling debts.

His girlfriend Val (Sandra Smith) has doubts about the scheme. Joey convinces her that a big record deal is on the way.
