Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band knock-off from a 2009 ad campaign for convenience store chain Wawa's "Hoagiefest." Parry Gripp wrote a number of short Beatles pastiches for the campaign, including "Captain Hoagie's Shorti Brigade," (yes, that's how Wawa spells it). The song describes this band playing Hoagiefest.
Lineup:
- Captain Hoagie, lead guitar
- Admiral Italian
- Lieutenant Meatball
- First Private Turkey
- Corporal Cheesesteak
"Then when Captain Hoagie solos on his guitar, it's really gonna blow your mind."
There was also a CD of the songs; Track Listing:
- 1 Here Comes the Hoagieman 2:03
- 2 Hoagie in the Sky 1:36
- 3 Captain Hoagie's Shorti Brigade 2:11
- 4 At the Hoagiefest 1:41
- 5 Come On Down 1:47
- 6 Turkey So Fine 2:27
