Jinncore band playing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the 2009 novel Osama van Halen by Michael Muhammad Knight.
Every so often, Ayyub spotted a jinn lugging a stand-up bass, and before long he heard music in the distance.
They were walking toward the stage occupied by a frantic band of psychobilly jinns, the lead singer gyrating like a zombie Elvis, the crowd filled with bopping jinncores. Looking at the giant banner behind the band, Amazing Ayyub deduced that it was the Dung Eaters.
