Barry Wom is the drummer with The Rutles, from the 1978 mockumentary All You Need is Cash. He was played by John Halsey.

Barry joined the Rutles when found hiding in the back. Born Barrington Womble, he changed his name to save time and his hairstyle to save Brylcreem.

He would like to be a hairdresser, or two. He would like to be two hairdressers.

In 1965, at the height of Rutlemania, he was supposed to marry his childhood sweetheart, 23-year-old butcher's apprentice Brenda Lyola. In a strange mixup inside the packed church, she was accidentally married to a party of Scotsmen from Hull. This incident inspired Barry's haunting ballad When You Find the Girl of Your Dreams in the Arms of Some Scotsmen from Hull.
