Broadloom is a band mentioned in Canadian-American author Gordon Korman's 1983 teen novel Bugs Potter: LIVE at Nickaninny.
This was the worst thing that it ever happened to him, Bugs reflected glumly as he stared listlessly out the window of the float plane. Every return of the propeller was carrying farther away from everything he held dear – the Black Hole concert, the Turquoise Tuxedo TV special, the rock festival featuring Bayleaf, The Antennae, Broadloom, Mushroom Soup and other immortal greats and where would he be? Lake Nickaninny. It was too much!
