AKA Vulcan harp, Vulcan lyre, Vulcan lyrette. A twelve-string electric musical instrument from the planet Vulcan in the original Star Trek series. Spock had one, and plays it well. He jams with space hippie Adam in "The Way to Eden" epidode (21 February 1969). In the Vulcan language it's called a "ka'athyra."
